Looks good when we finally got it level enough for the lid to close. Read the directions at least 3 times and don't think you can figure it out just by looking at the pieces. Assembly will take you much longer.Can't say whether it is weatherproof as we are in a drought since before we got it.Liked everthing especially place for a lock not included but designed for one. Would truly tell others to buy especially if a grandmother with tons of pool toys, outdoor chair cushions and possibly a grandchild, ha ha ha that is a joke but rest is true lots of space!!I had one before that two people could use as a seat. This one is so thin that I wouldn’t recommend sitting anything heavier than a couple of drinks on. Other than that, it was easy to put together and it seems to be waterproof so far. It’s nice and big so able to hold a lot of things from my deck.It's not sturdy, as in you can sit and move around on it. But it's a storage bin, not a storage/bench. It works and does the trick. Bought the waterproof cover. The bottom is thick enough, one inch. So I'm not worried about water leaking in from the bottom.All in all it's doing what I want it to do. Hold stuff.I've assembled a few patio boxes in my time and they are sometimes complicated and require tools -- not this one. It just snapped together.The plastic itself is decent, but if the box isn’t on perfectly level ground, it doesn’t close properly…letting rain in.Following the directions, the bottom and side panels of the box snapped together like a dream. Everything was going smoothly until I had to attach the hooks for the lid. The pieces just don't fit. I am going to try to sand down some of the plastic to try to make it work, since the bottom of the box is now put together. But it has been frustrating. I have read and re-read the directions. Its very large and nice looking, but I would have picked another brand if I knew the assembly was going to be this difficult.Was easy to assemble and looks good on our patio. We use it to store our patio furniture pillows and seems to do the job well. I would say it is weather resistant not weatherproof.
